Here is a short wrap-up on what is happening during Halloween around Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line! The comments will have what I think is worth it (or what location(s))
Walt Disney World
Hollywood Studios will have Minnie Mouse and friends dressed up in Halloween costumes for all meals and Hollywood and Vine
Magic Kingdom will have Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from August 7 to October 31, 2026. A special parade, trick-or-treat lines, and character appearances will be making appearances throughout the park.
At Disney Springs, don’t miss the Halloween overlay at Jock Lindsey’ Hangar Bar!
Disney Cruise Line:
Select ships will have “Halloween on the High Seas” sailings which include a Halloween makeover with decorations, themed events, and character appearances. In the Grand Hall or Atrium, a pumpkin tree will be growing with a name and personality which helps embrace the Halloween spirit. And you can’t forget about costumes, for you and your favorite characters on board! You can’t trick-or-treat without a costume!
Disneyland:
Disneyland has a few different fun fall/Halloween experiences throughout the parks and resorts. Here are some to the top items of note.
Disneyland:
Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular will take over Sleeping Beauty Castle with some iconic villains leading the show.
Haunted Mansion will once again transform into Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie with a fabulous gingerbread house in the ballroom.
Disney’s California Adventure:
Cars Land will have Radiator Screams where Halloween takes over Radiator Springs from rides, costumes, and the song during the most magical time at Radiator Sprigs (comment below if you know what I’m talking about!)
Plaza de la Familia from August 21 though November 2, 2026. This includes Coco inspired entertainment and merchandise, nods to Dia de los Mu***os, and specialty foods at Paradise Garden Grill
Oogie Boogie Bash is select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026. This is an after hours event (additional ticket needed) to dress up, trick-or-treat throughout DCA, and interact with unique characters or character costumes that may not be found other times of the year. This year, a new street party will be happening taking inspiration from Haunted Mansion! And I can’t forget about the iconic Villains Grove that takes over Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Disneyland Resorts:
Grand Californian - Storytellers Cafe will have a takeover of Mickey’s Autumn Adventures for breakfast/brunch and Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween dinner for afternoons.
Disneyland Hotel - Goofy’s Kitchen will have Halloween fun throughout the day.
