You have a whole NIGHT at your party! Don’t overdo it during the day. Here are my ideas:

1. Resort day and character breakfast - this is a great option to have a relaxing character breakfast and maybe even try one that’s not close to your resort. Just make sure you know how to get there and how much time it will take.

2. Pool time - but do it wisely. If it’s hot out you don’t want everyone getting totally worn out. Mix in a nap or movie.

3. Putt putt! Did you know Disney World has 2 locations for putt putt?

4. Park ticket strategy - if you have a regular park ticket for the day go for a couple hours in the morning for low crowds then head back to your hotel. Then later you can get back into the park before 4 pm if you want!

Would you do this?

Full story: our first 2 cruises the weather wasn’t great on embarkation day so they switched the party to inside! It’s still awesome but we were having such a great time together on our balcony that we just chilled out and skipped it. Some of our best memories!!

2 things can be true:

It can be crowded and it can be magical. But for it to be magical it takes some planning. Easy steps:

Booking it early gives you the best price and hotel availability.

Planning around the parties and knowing when to take advantage of “lower” crowds and when to go all in and work around the crowds makes all the difference.

And my favorite - a dessert party in Magic Kingdom when it’s crowded!!
