Highlights from my latest trip to Disney World!

The first park we visited was Animal Kingdom. We went on a Sunday and the crowds were pretty manageable for a weekend 👯‍♀️

🥡 Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe for dinner

We’re saying goodbye to a few things in Animal Kingdom, but there’s some time to say goodbye! 👋🏼

🐞 It’s Tough to Be a Bug is closing March 16 and will be replaced with Zootopia!
🦕 DINOLAND USA has begun closures throughout the area but won’t officially close until 2026. Dinosaur, the ride, should remain open through 2025. This area will be repurposed to “Tropical Americas” opening in 2027

🐈‍⬛⭐️A MUST DO IN SALEM ⭐️🐈‍⬛

THE UGLY MUG DINER

🍳 We started our day in Salem at The Ugly Mug and I will recommend this to anyone planning a visit to Salem. This diner is first come, first serve and when I say get there early I mean it.

🚊 We took the 7:30 train from Boston to Salem, which gets you into Salem around 8, which is just when the Ugly Mug opens. It is approximately a 5 min walk from the train to Ugly Mug and when we got there, there was already a decent line at the door. We waited about 35 minutes to get seats. It was totally worth it.

☕️ The atmosphere is adorable, the chai was perfect, and the pancakes were divine! It was the perfect place to fuel up before walking the 25,000 steps we walked around Salem!

If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast to add to your Salem itinerary, is the place for you 🫡

Does this place look familiar? 👀 🧙🏻‍♀️

This was the home of Thackery Binx and you may recognize it from the opening scene of Hocus Pocus! 🐈‍⬛ Pioneer Village is just one of the many Hocus Pocus stops you can make while exploring Salem.

Pioneer Village is about a 1-mile walk from Downtown Salem and 100% worth the trip! This was one of my favorite stops on our trip to Salem.

These last few months have been overwhelming and exhausting but have been so eye opening. I have realized my priorities and what I am willing to let in my life that impedes on my own personal happiness.

I was not going to do an “I’m back!” post but I’m doing it for me more than anyone. I want to hold myself accountable to the things I love doing. Travel and blogging being some of those things.

I lost my grandpa in January. Tomorrow will be one month without him. I never felt the emotions that have been swirling in me and didn’t know they could even exist to this extent.

Life is too short to be unhappy.

SO. I quit my job.

I will no longer do what doesn’t serve me.

SO. I’m back. I’m travel ready. I’m blogging ready. I’m ready to conquer the rest of 2023.

Seaport is the perfect place to spend the day if you’re looking for all those fall vibes ✨🧡

Happy Friday! Just laying in bed thinking about how just two weeks ago I was climbing on a glacier 🧊

Looking back at my travel photos is one of my favorite things to do when I’m not on the road. 📸 nothing like mentally reliving those memories to lift your spirits!

Got the tour operators photos from the Northern Lights tour I took while in Reykjavik 🇮🇸

A major bucket list item checked off ✔️

Our driver/guide, Tomas, was more than generous with making sure we got great photos 📸

Some people were a bit cold 🥶 and opted to stay on the bus between the appearances of the lights in the sky 🌌 but me and a few other adventurers chose to stay outside, so we got some extra photos since it was just a few of us! Thanks Tomas!
