Would I actually recommend spending $22 on a single slice of cake at Disney?

…..YES.

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers brought a new level of whimsy and magic to Walt Disney World when they opened a few years ago at Disney’s BoardWalk. 🎀✨🍰

Just going into the bakery is an experience and the cake is just as fabulous as you’d expect. The slices are HUGE, decadent, and absolutely meant to be shared.

And don’t need a park ticket to visit! The Cake Bake Shop is located on Disney’s BoardWalk, making it a perfect stop on a rest day, resort day, or evening outside the parks. Grab a slice, walk around the BoardWalk, and enjoy a little Disney magic. ✨

I used to think we had to do it all to “get our money’s worth.” The truth of it is, even with the most perfectly detailed plans, you’ll never do it all.

Slowing down means this:
You’re preventing burnout, meltdowns, overwhelm, and overly tired kids (and adults, let’s be honest.)

The magic of Disney goes far beyond the theme parks and some of our best memories have come during our rest days. Your vacation should feel like a vacation to you, too.

Enjoy your hotel pools and activities, sleep in, try a character breakfast at a resort, or order a pizza and watch Disney movies in bed!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offers Victorian charm, world-class dining (can you say Michelin star?! ⭐️) and stunning views of Cinderella Castle. This is Disney luxury at its finest!
We loved this room so much, we even modeled our daughter’s nursery off this design 🥰
