Hi 👋 If you’re new here, or if you’ve known me for 15 years and still aren’t entirely sure what I do with all these Disney posts 😂—here’s the quick version.

I’m Kathleen: mom of two, BCBA, and travel advisor specializing in Disney vacations for families with young kids.

And somewhere along the way, what started as a love for planning Disney trips turned into a business I’m incredibly proud of.

I help families plan Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Universal and more, but my sweet spot is making Disney feel easier for parents.

I help with the big stuff like choosing the right resort, booking your vacation and finding the best package for your family—but also all the things that come after booking: dining, park strategy, Lightning Lanes, transportation, stroller rentals, special experiences, and all those tiny decisions that can make planning Disney feel like a second full-time job.

And because I spend my other professional life as a BCBA, I have a particular soft spot for helping families with young kids and kids who may need a little extra support navigating crowds, waiting, transitions, sensory overload and BIG Disney days. 🤍

Parents spend months planning the “perfect” Disney itinerary…

…and then their kids spend hours in the hotel pool. 😂

The funny thing is, they’re not doing Disney “wrong.”

For little kids, the pools, splash pads, playgrounds, movie nights, and downtime often become some of the most memorable parts of the trip.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I encourage families not to overlook their resort. It’s not just where you sleep, it’s part of your vacation.

Before kids, I would’ve picked the cheapest hotel every single time.

After kids? Convenience became the luxury.

Being able to walk back for naps, hop on the monorail instead of folding a stroller onto a bus, and actually enjoy the vacation instead of surviving it…

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how quickly the seasons of life change.

One minute you’re chasing toddlers around a character breakfast…and before you know it, they’re too big to reach for Mickey’s hand.

Vacations aren’t just about checking destinations off a bucket list.

They’re about slowing down long enough to be together.

As a BCBA, I spend my school year helping children and families navigate some really hard moments. Summer is my chance to unplug, reconnect with my own girls, and make memories that I know they’ll carry long after they’ve forgotten what toys they got for Christmas.

That’s one of the reasons I love helping other families plan Disney vacations.

Not because Disney is “perfect.”

But because when the planning is taken care of, you have more space to focus on what actually matters.

The hugs.
The laughter.
The excitement on their faces when Mickey walks into the room.

Those are the moments that stick.
