I learned the secrets of local people and became fluent in Spanish as we went back to our roots. Every time we would visit the states or have a family vacation, we would go to Disney World, our oasis! I became more passionate about Disney the older I became; spending hours upon hours researching and learning all things about the parks in my free time. I realized that in making your dreams come true, my dreams come true too.

Spooky season 👻✨🎃

Disney has some incredible seasonal offerings. From Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to Oogie Boogie Bash, fall at Disney is honestly one of my favorite times to visit. The weather starts cooling down a bit, the decorations are unmatched, and there’s just something extra magical about the parks this time of year.

But here’s the thing most people don’t realize…

These events sell out FAST, resort availability gets limited, and knowing which dates, tickets, and resorts are actually worth it can make a huge difference in your trip experience.

The looks I get from moms that don’t travel alone without kids are pretty rough ones.

I never want to look back at my life and think that I didn’t get to do things for myself bc I had kids. It’s so important to take the time you need to rest so you can go home and be the mom you want to be.

Burnout is so real. save the money and go on a trip for your birthday. That’s not something you’ll ever regret.

Wake up to giraffes, zebras, and wildlife right outside your balcony. It’s one of the most unique stays on Disney property.

✨ Immersive theming
The storytelling, architecture, and details make it feel like you’re in Africa. It’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience.

✨ Incredible dining
Home to fan-favorite spots like Boma - Flavors of Africa and Jiko - The Cooking Place.

✨ Peaceful luxury vibes
It’s quieter and more relaxed than other Disney resorts, perfect for slower mornings and reset time.

CONS
⚠️ Far from everything
Located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, so getting to parks like Magic Kingdom or Epcot takes longer.

⚠️ Transportation is bus only
No Skyliner, monorail, or boats. Just buses, which can add time to your day.

⚠️ Price vs. park proximity
You’re paying deluxe pricing without the convenience of being close to most parks.

⚠️ Limited quick dining options late night
Not ideal if you want a lot of grab-and-go variety after a long park day.

✨ My take:
If you want a resort experience and not just a place to sleep, this is one of the most magical stays on property. But if your priority is maximizing park time, you may want something more central.

I was so scared to travel with my daughter the first time. Here are 3 things I wish I knew when I traveled the first time.

1. Take advantage of the fact that kids are free for the first 3 years at Disney. These young ages can be challenging, but if you set your expectations and prepare yourself you will have a lot of fun. Kids are often a free lap seat below 2 for certain airlines.

2. Don’t expect a jammed packed vacation. I often see parents and people try to get the most of their situations. But they forget to be realistic with their days. It’s so important to balance

3. Location, location, location. Matters so much when you’re traveling with littles! I can’t tell you how often I hear parents wanting to stay far from tourists attractions and parks to save a few bucks, but ultimately regret not staying closer.

Kids are the best joy and taking them to see the world, is a privilege!!
