I finally made it back to Flower & Garden to try some more of the gluten free food! Keep in mind that I do not have celiac, so I sometimes order the food as it comes and give the bread or crackers to my husband.

The poke bowl was excellent. The flavors and combination of pickled vegetables, avocado, mango and sticky rice were perfect, and everything tasted fresh.

They cider and board were the most disappointing items of the day. The cider didn’t taste like lime at all. The cheeses on the board were good, but the meat was mostly fat which is hard for me to chew and digest, so I had to let my husband eat that (along with the crackers of course).

The chips and dip were pretty good. The chips could have been a little crunchier, but overall not bad. It was just very hot and this didn’t really hit right with the weather for me.

Finally, the cheesecake. Oh my goodness. This was my first time being able to eat it, and I absolutely loved it. It was super creamy and beautifully presented. The berry compote gave it a pop of tang and I want 10 of them!

This is really one of the most beautiful festivals at EPCOT, so if you haven’t been yet, put it on your list for future times to travel to Disney, and send me a DM to get started planning your trip!

Rockstar and Mega Rockstar sailors receive a special black band as opposed to the standard red band onboard Virgin cruise ships.

In addition to being your stateroom key and charging device, this lets you into the Rockstar exclusive Richard’s Rooftop area, and it lets all staff onboard know that you are staying in a suite and are permitted to skip lines for dining, shows and activities.

May the 4th at Hollywood Studios was a fun experience! It’s definitely verrrryyyy crowded, so pack your patience pants if you ever want to attend. We did have to wait to be able to get in and see the light saber meet up, but it was very cool once we made our way in!

I tried the new Pink Milk (sans alcohol), and it was pretty good. It had more of a banana flavor than expected, but it was fruity and refreshing. I liked it better than I recall liking the blue or green milk. I’ll have to re-test this theory soon!

For the final night of my Disney Fantasy cruise, we had dinner at Royal Court. The decor in here is nice, and gives nod to the Princesses, but I’ll admit that it wasn’t my favorite.

For appetizer, I got the lobster & shrimp along with the leek and potato soup. The shrimp was cooked nicely and had a nice dill flavor, but I thought to even include lobster in the name was kind of funny because there was one solo sliver of lobster. 😂 Now the leek and potato soup was fantastic! That was my favorite thing that I ate on this night.

For my main, I got the crispy duck, which was just fine. It had good flavor, but the fat wasn’t cooked down enough, and there were some pieces that were tough to chew. I also didn’t love the sweet parsnip purée that went with it, it just wasn’t my flavor profile.

The dessert was Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée, and this was my only option on this night. I am not the biggest fan of crème brûlée in general, so this wouldn’t be my favorite, but the top was burned a bit and it gave it a bitter char taste with every bite.

It was unfortunate to end with this meal after the rest of the amazing food I had (see previous posts), but I honestly wasn’t mad at it. This was still overall my best food experience on Disney Cruise Line so far!
