That’s right, on June 8th Disney will FINALLY be opening up their 2023 packages!

Happy Mothers Day!!!

I know this day can me hard for many and I don’t want to be insensitive but I also want to share the fact that I LOVE being a mom, especially a Disney Runner Mom!

Taking up running, after I became a mama was probably the BEST thing I ever did for myself!

Not only does it do wonders for my mental and physical health, it helps me show my son accomplishing something difficult is possible with a lot of hard work and dedication!

It also has helped us fall in LOVE with Disney World!

Our first trip as a family happened because I had learned of and wanted to run Princess Weekend. Timing didn’t work out for a race that first trip but that’s okay because instead we were able to enjoy the parks and get bit by the Disney Bug! It was the following year that I participated in Wine and Dine Weekend and got bit by the RunDisney Bug! 😜

All this to say…I LOVE Disney! I LOVE Running! I LOVE being a Mom! And I LOVE that they all come together so nicely! 🥰

Happy Cinco de Mayo Friends!!! 🇲🇽

Boy do I wish I could be in the Mexico pavilion today! It seriously has some of my all time favorite foods and drinks!

I could literally eat Mexican food every day of the week so it really should come as NO surprise that I would LOVE this holiday and this pavilion!

And for the record…we usually end in Mexico because chances are, that’s where we’re eating dinner. 👍🏼

Tonight’s menu in my humble abode…fajitas, margaritas and yes, I’m pretty sure we’ll turn Coco on today as well!

May the Fourth be with you young padawan! Although, now that you have your lightsaber does that make you a Jedi??? I don’t these things…this mama has learned a LOT about Star Wars and visiting Batuu has definitely helped but this kid…he’s like a Star Wars encyclopedia!

Clearly this day was made for him! 🥰

It’s National Something on a Stick Day (maybe the MOST random of these these National days 🤷🏽‍♀️) but it reminded me of this fun snack from Marathon Weekend!

“Popcorn” Chicken!

Chicken nugs tossed in a sriracha honey sauce on a stick that sat in a bucket of popcorn!

Not sure where the idea came from but definitely interesting. 😁

Curious to know if any of you have seen this snack outside of a event???

Just over here dreaming of Mickey Waffles so thought I’d share this giant one I devoured after the 5k back in January. 🤤

I tell you what, Disney has mastered the art of consistently making a delicious Mickey Waffle! It doesn’t matter where or what size, that dang waffle is always delicious and always seems to hit the spot!

We’ve got our own Mickey Waffle maker here at home but without that recipe, they’re fun but just not the same.

Staying on Batuu today for our post! 😋

This here snack is one that seems to be to one of those foods you either LOVE or do NOT care for (felt like hate was too strong a word 😄).

We are most definitely on team LOVE! 🤤

The popcorn is a colorful blend sweet AND spicy flavors! Some people (including us) enjoy the flavor combo, others think it’s too weird! 🤷🏽‍♀️

If you’re fan of the colorful popcorn you should know you can also grab multiple smaller bags of it on the new Galactic Starcruiser! It’ll cost you a bit more overall 🤪 but if you’re interested we should most DEFINITELY chat!

Happy St Patrick’s Day from Batuu!

Who says your green drink today has to be beer?! 😉

You can find this green alcoholic concoction over at Oga’s Cantina and we highly recommend it! 👍🏼👍🏼

The Dagonah Slug Slinger is what you’ll want to ask the cast member for!

Tequila, blue curaçao, citrus juices, ginger, herbs, and bitters. A fun space margarita really! 🤩

It may not be very Irish but my photos of green Disney beverages is limited friends. 😜
