While walking through the Asia portion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you will quickly realize the amount of detail put into this land.

This area was modeled after the fictional kingdom of Anandapur, meaning ‘place of many delights’ in Sanskrit. To avoid being designed after just one country, Anandapur was created, so inspiration could be drawn from many Southeastern Asia countries.

In 1999, this was also Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s first expansion to the park, making it a part of many family Disney vacation traditions.

Did you know that there’s a centralized spot to meet Princesses in Magic Kingdom?

That’s right! Just behind Cinderella Castle is Princess Fairytale Hall, where you can meet Cinderella, Tiana, and visiting Princesses (like Elena of Avalor!) for pictures, autographs, and fun conversations.

And the best part? You get in line once to meet TWO princesses! Then you have the chance to loop over to the other line to meet two more.
