Happy National Plan for Vacation Day! With temps in the teens this morning 🥶, I’m certainly dreaming of warmer weather at the most magical place on earth! It’s hard to believe with it just being January, but now is THE time to book your spring and summer vacations to have the best availability, deals, and time to plan!

Disney World packages are just a $200 deposit and you can pay the balance over time, which can help with saving and budgeting. And with dining reservations opening up 60 days prior to check-in, there’s so much to think about in anticipation of your trip!

Happy Winnie the Pooh day!! One of the highlights of our trip this past December was Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends 🍯🧸 Breakfast here is one of our favs (hello churro Mickey waffles!), and it’s such a fun way to see some friends without having the wait in line to meet characters since they come around to your table.

Still figuring out Spring Break or summer vacation plans? Disney just dropped some great room and package discounts for stays in the coming months! These discounts are a great way to save a little money to put towards food, souvenirs, or other experiences, or you could even look into upgrading your resort! I love the theming at Art of Animation with the Finding Nemo playground near the Big Blue Pool! They offer daily suites which is perfect if you need a little more space for everyone in your group.

There’s nothing like Disney magic ✨ After picking out a Rapunzel souvenir at Disney Springs, our oldest dropped her Maximus horse in the five minute walk to dinner. We retraced our steps, talked to cast members, and filed a lost item report. She was distraught, and the most wonderful cast member at World of Disney helped us that evening. Fast forward to this Tuesday when a package arrived at our door from Disney - Maximus had been found! Grateful for the cast members that go above and beyond, even after you leave the parks 🤍

You never take the same child to Disney twice ✨

We returned home earlier this month after a big family trip to Disney World, and I finally got around to looking at photos. When I saw this picture I took of our oldest at Dumbo, it hit me that this is the ride she has ridden every single trip. At age 1, almost 3, 4, and now 5. And every time, she still finds this same ride magical.

Every time we visit, she is a little older. A little taller. A little braver. And she still believes in the magic that makes Disney so special. And seeing those little moments through her eyes creates new memories for me.

One day she won’t be as excited to ride the purple Dumbo. One day she won’t be frantically waving at Mickey and Minnie at the parade. One day she won’t be jumping up and down at her seat waiting for Eeyore to give her a hug. One day she’ll be grown up, and we will wish for these moments again.

Maybe she won’t remember everything. All of the rides we rode, the characters she met, the treats she ate. But I do know we all will remember those special moments as a family, taking in the magic of Disney. Because if even just for a short time, anyone can be a kid again.

Take the trip 🤍 There’s no perfect age or stage to go. Each time will bring new memories, and they’ll be ones you revisit forever 🏰
