We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, assigning drivers to routes, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent communication skills, and a proficiency in computer software used for dispatching.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate pick-up and delivery of goods with clients
- Assign drivers to routes and ensure they meet delivery timelines and safety standards
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed
- Maintain communication with drivers during their routes to address any issues or changes
- Handle any customer complaints or inquiries regarding delivery status or service
- Utilize computer software to track shipments, update delivery status, and maintain records
- Generate reports on key performance indicators and optimize routing and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry
- Collaborate with other dispatchers and departments to ensure smooth operations
- Provide training to dispatchers and drivers on using computer systems effectively for logistics management

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or transportation is a plus
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in logistics software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
