More than 400,000 travelers utilize LFT annually, and that number continues to grow. Fares are competitive, and we pride ourselves in the quality of our services and facilities. On January 19, 2022, the old

terminal at Lafayette Regional Airport saw its last passengers depart and arrive and closed its doors for good. The terminal served the community for over six decades. The New LFT Terminal opened its doors to the public for the first time in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 20.

Join us in the LFT Terminal rotunda on Thursday, September 17, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for live music by the Blue Collar Boys. Grab a bite and a drink from the restaurant and bar, and enjoy a great view of the airfield while you relax.

Free Special Event Passes are available—limited to 50 applicants. Apply by Tuesday, September 15, at 4:30 p.m.

Planning to travel with family for Labor Day weekend? Consider getting TSA PreCheck®. Kids 17 and under can use TSA PreCheck® lanes at no additional cost when traveling on the same reservation and their boarding pass includes the TSA PreCheck® indicator. ✅

✈️ LFT is flying high into the future! A first for our airport, LFT hosted an Alia high performance fixed-wing electric aircraft manufactured by the aerospace company, BETA TECHNOLOGIES. The company has now built and flown its family of ALIA aircraft more than 100,000 nautical miles, including multiple trips across the United States.

This aircraft was flown under the moniker eBristow. Bristow Group is the leading global provider of innovative and sustainable vertical flight solutions. Bristow primarily provides aviation services to a broad base of offshore energy companies and government entities.

🎷 🎸 🥁 Straight-ahead jazz and Louisiana infused funky originals filled the rotunda of the LFT terminal as Modern Jazz Movement treated travelers and Special Event Pass holders to a two-hour performance! Guests purchased food and beverages from the Acadiana Kitchen + Bar and had a great view of the airfield.
