Happy birthday to a club that is near and dear to our hearts.

Our founder, Ulick, is from Killarney and is an avid supporter of the Dr. Crokes GAA

Our support for the club traces back to the late 1890’s when our grand uncle, Eugene O’Sullivan, played for the Dr Crokes and eventually became the chairman of the Kerry County Board.

On 2 November 1886 eighteen Dangerous Dreamers met in candlelight secrecy in Killarney and dared to dream to found the famous Dr Crokes GAA club.

They met many challenges including World War 1,the 1916 Rising, RIC, Black & Tans, War of Independence, Civil War, World War 2, Covid and many more. Yet they persevered. They passed the torch to today's club members which shines so brightly. Happy 139th birthday today November 2, 2025

Visit The Healy Family Fundraiser this evening at the Irish American Heritage Center to support the Healy Family.

Proceeds from the many generous donations from the Irish community help support the family.

In the wake of Martin’s passing, we have established The Healy Family Fundraiser to support Colleen and their children during this difficult time. All proceeds will be used to cover future education expenses for the Healy children.

What did you do at work today?

We had another shipper owned container safely lifted onto the chassis for another couple moving home from Chicago to Ireland! The crane lifted the container and the drayage company backed the chassis underneath.

Celebrating another successful transfer of residence clearance approval with Irish Customs! That is 3 out of 3 in the last week! Euro Shippers sets clients up for a quick clearance by walking our clients through the paperwork required in advance of shipping.

Things to know about Irish Transfer of Residence:
-they are taking longer
-Irish customs may request additional paperwork like bank transactions in Ireland to show you are truly home
-you need to provide multiple proof of address for Ireland
-if you are staying with family, get a stamped letter from a Garda. (We have a template for clients)
-save a copy of a paystub from your employer prior to moving

Euro Shippers is a Chicago based logistics firm. We are seeking a part time administrative assistant to assist between multiple family owned businesses.

Daily tasks would include but are not limited to:
-answering phones
-answering emails
-tracking shipments
-answering customer queries
-some bookkeeping tasks
-filing customs paperwork
-other administrative duties as requested

This position has the possibility to go full time in the future.

This is a position requiring training in our West suburban office. Once trained, you have the opportunity to work from home with the option to work in the office as needed.
