We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Scale Operator. As part of our team, you use a computerized scale to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, logging information relevant to each truck, including vehicle type, and driver. You accurately record this data for billing purposes. This position requires moderate computer proficiency, and our ideal candidate has prior experience with trucking, data entry, and industrial workplace safety.

We are a grain elevator

In May of 2013, Windstar Inc., through its grain entity, Flatlands Grain, completed a buyout of Evans Grain. The business continued to operate as Evans Grain until the summer of 2018 when the licensing was moved from TDA to USDA. We are now a federally licensed facility. We are still committed to service and invite both current and potential customers to let us receive, process, and market their grain. We are a part of the community and want to make that relationship a good one for both the farmers in this area and our business.

Our manager is Weldon Mote, who has more than 30 years of experience in the elevator business. Weldon is knowledgeable in the markets and works hard to help customers. Seth Bryan is also manager at the Kress and Hale Center Elevators, he is young and very knowledgeable about farming and grain business. Contact our office anytime Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:00pm.

We receive grain at Kress, Tule Creek, and Hale Center. The Hale Center facility is also the hub for receiving and storing sunflowers for Red River Commodities.
