We moved an awesome house in Gatlinburg today. Always love doing moves in Gatlinburg because the views are amazing. We even saw a bear right next to us today and he didn’t like the idea of us wanting him to help us move an armoire lol. They had a heavy sleeper sofa that was a bit too risky to try to get down their small staircase with a short ceiling that twisted at a 90° halfway down, so we made it happen a different way…..

U.S. Moving is looking to hire several full time workers! We are located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Experience not necessary as we will personally train. We have a fantastic work environment and starting pay is $22 an hour with a $3 an hour increase after the first month, and incremental increases from there based on willingness to learn and grow with us. We have been in business for 12 years and are growing rapidly. Requirements include a drivers license, your own transportation, willingness to lift heavier items from time to time, and no smoking. What a year so far! 10 jobs already done this week and 10 more to go, let’s get it boys! You know, as your business grows, the downside is you start seeing who your real supporters vs. users are. There are people who won’t like you, there are people who you think are your friends but turn out not to be, and there are the ones who have stayed with you even when you were struggling. I had a customer asked me the other day who my biggest competition was, I thought for a minute, and I told him “I actually don’t even know”. I wish all of them well and I hope they succeed, but I just focus on this business. Aside from my wife and family of course who have always supported and been there for me, I appreciate all of the guys who have stuck with me and know that the core of this business is about taking care of our employees and our customers. Thank you, Zach Warnock, Michael Domaine, Donnie Howell, Jesse Crabtree, Monte Crabtree, Dalton Grimm, Keen Gardner, Preston Hickerson, Eric Healy, Drew Prince, Stephen Edmonds, Mark Edmonds, Cooper Takacs, Branson James, Shawna Huesman (mom), Renata Morgan, and Amanda Reynolds for being a huge asset to this company! Moving some things for Chad Benton, owner of East TN Tree Service and ironically as we’re moving his house, his crew comes out and cuts a huge tree down across the street lol. These guys are no joke, they get there, get it done right, clean up, and get out! I think they even left the customer chocolates lol jk. Awesome company and great group of guys Chad!

Wow, what a year! As always, we are so thankful for the realtors, past customers, friends, and family who refer the business and made it what it is today! Our most recent hire was our new partner Amanda Reynolds. I’ve known her for about 8 years and she is just an amazing woman. She’s our office manager, schedule coordinator, ball of energy, and much more.  Thank you Amanda for your great attitude and making our job so much easier and allowing us more freedom to be able to continue building this company!

I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple months….I had no idea when we hired this guy that he’d be such an awesome team member (I had some idea because his brother works with us and his awesome as well). U.S. Moving has expanded into a new office/warehouse! Started out with just two guys, a uhaul rental and a 15x15 storage unit….We are so thankful for all of the referrals from past customers, real estate agents, designers, businesses, friends, family, Facebook shout outs, etc. Almost 100% referral business 10 years later because of you! What a great team we now have, thanks guys! Special thank you to my wife for believing in this business and never once doubting, even when I did at times.
