Service means a lot at Highway Transport — on the road and in the communities we call home.

Through Highway Helping Hands, our team recently spent their Saturday volunteering alongside the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Knoxville. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to create a more functional storage space and garage for our local heroes.

In our trucking community, service, sacrifice, and looking out for one another are values that hit close to home. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization dedicated to the men and women who served our country.

Thank you to the DAV for welcoming the Highway team and for everything you do for our nation’s veterans.

From burgers in Baton Rouge and hot dogs in Philadelphia to lunch with the crew in Chattanooga, these moments are a great reminder that the best part of Highway isn’t just what we haul. It’s the people who make it happen every day.

Joseph and James just clocked in for the second shift, and those dirty tanks don’t stand a chance. While most folks are heading home, these two are hard at work, making sure every tank leaves cleaner, safer, and ready for the next load.

Tank washing is demanding work, and the night crew plays a big role in keeping things moving.
The second shift is on the job.

Barbara Turner-Moye says it best. Drivers want miles, good pay, and time with their families. But more than anything, they want to know they are respected.

As Highway Transport's Pittsburgh Service Center Manager, Barbara was a Highway driver herself, so she speaks from experience.

With over 20 years of experience, JT and Brian know a thing or two about tank washing, including making sure our tank cleaning operations and safety protocols are second to none.

Their hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right help set the standard for our entire network of Highway Transport Service Centers. Tank washing is tough work, and it takes tough, dedicated people to do it well.
