Dynamic Propulsion

Dynamic Propulsion The discovery/invention that could make the futuristic dreams about transportation on Earth and in Space daily reality.

The Dynamic Propulsion System “DPS” is a mechanical device that uses kinetic energy and the momentum of revolving weights to convert the torque of any engine directly to the vectored motion. The DPS could replace all existing devices, as propellers; screw-propellers; reactive force of back stream of water, air, or hot gasses; the transmission; clutch; turn-converter; transaxle; and all other gearb

oxes in the surface vehicles, and could put end on the noisy and inefficient transportation as we know it. Using the DPS, the traditional airplanes, as well as jets and jumbo jets would fly noiselessly; surface vehicles would not need traction and would easily drive on ice and on the other slippery surfaces; boats, ships and submarines would navigate noiselessly and without creating the trail of twirling water; and the cumbersome rackets making travel to the space, and in the space, so unreliable, dangerous and expensive would become a laughable history. The vehicle, or the craft equipped by the adequate engine and propelled by the single DPS, could freely move under water as a submarine, on the water surface as a boat or ship, and on the land as the current motor vehicle do. However, the craft equipped by the DPS could do what any current vehicles or crafts can’t do. It could go, without any conversion, from the land or water directly to the space using the same propulsion system. However, in the space travels, unlike the racket that quickly burns the great amount of fuel to generate enough trust and speed to overcome the Earth gravity, the craft propelled by the DPS could ascend slowly, in exactly same fashion as any current chopper would, but wouldn’t need the propeller and the air to rise. The DPS can propel the vehicle or craft to any direction, and its size of the DPS depends directly on the amount of energy that should transfer. Physically, the size of DPS is just about the same as the size of the engine that supplies the power for it. Since the DPS doesn’t need any supporting media, it also doesn’t waste the incoming energy on the adverse effects as the backward moving air, hot gasses or water, and also doesn’t produce any kind of magnetic or other power-field. Unlike the other current propulsion systems as the jet, racket, or the propeller based propulsion systems hat waste at least 50% of energy on creating of the backward stream, the DPS is absolutely noiseless and clean and converts all incoming energy into the usable one-directional force. The small losses of energy occur only in the bearings of the DPS. The direct and clean conversion of the torque of engine to the linear motion has a number of additional advantages. Although doesn’t need them, to save an energy on keeping the craft airborne the craft propelled by the DPS could have wings and fly like an airplane, but, at the same time, could without any conversion take off and land vertically as a chopper. Or, the craft could have no wings at all, and could navigate in the places where the chopper could not go because of its large propeller, downward air draft, and the lifted dust and the other light objects. In essence, the craft propelled by the DPS can go even inside of buildings and can hover anywhere without disturbing its surrounding. The DPS could be of any size, and with the maximum efficiency could utilize any number of revolutions “RPM.” Therefore, the DPS could be used with any kind of engine, or a gas turbine, regardless of the curve of efficiency of the engine versus number of RPM. Since the DPS doesn’t demand the certain torque and range of RPM, the gas turbine would be probably the best source of torque especially for the small and large aircrafts equipped by the DPS. The gas turbine itself is fairly quiet, therefore the noise pollution generated by jets and airplanes with the traditional propellers would be virtually eliminated, and the airports and surrounded areas would become environmentally friendly places again. Because the motor vehicles propelled by the DPS do not need traction to accelerate, there wouldn’t be a need for the chains and the other traction devices to drive in the otherwise impossible road conditions and terrain. If employed on the mass scale, the DPS’ efficiency could considerably reduce the air pollution and create enormous saving of energy. In the space, the toque for the DPS could be supplied by the electromotor powered by the solar cells, and DPS could be used for propelling of spaceships and satellites, as well as for propelling of spacewalking astronauts throughout the pace. The DPS works in cycles, and could be set to generate a calibrated go-and-stop motion and to keep the final linear speed constant, or could be set to cumulate the speed gained during each subsequent cycle. In the later setting, in theory, the craft propelled by the DPS could gradually accelerate to the speed of light, or to infinity. These properties of DPS could open new ways for traveling into and throughout the space, as well as for the calibrated movement of astronaut and material during the repair and construction of the space objects and space installations.
