All good things come to an end and change is inevitable. We are so thankful for the experience, new friendships, and good times that Hostel Tahoe brought us. We are so very proud of the Hostel and cherish that its opening spurred new hostels in South Lake and Truckee. The idea, of something different, communal lodging with full kitchen and lounge was able to take a defunct 1950s hotel and turn it into the number one lodging location in Kings Beach. We learned so much along the way and are so very grateful for all of our guests, employees, and community. We are off to the next chapter and wish the new buyers all the best.

Burners, please don't throw away your bikes 🚲 . Let's give them to those who can use them 🤗. Kiwanis Bike Program and Reno-Tahoe International Airport have partnered to offer a drop-off location. Just be sure to look for the signs.

Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking person(s) interested in part time year round employment in Kings Beach, North Lake Tahoe. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, enjoy meeting folks from other places, care about cleanliness, able to work on weekends, and be self-motivated. Our salary is competitive and includes a health stipend.

Strong English oral communication and basic computer operation skills required. Experience in guest services is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Check in/Check out
• Guest coordination and hospitality
• May occasionally need to assist housekeeping with room cleaning and/or inspection
