Renewable Opportunities, Inc. was founded and incorporated under the laws of the State of Wyoming in June 2009 by highly experienced industry executives for the purpose of providing green industrial and energy products utilizing waste materials as feedstock. The company is differentiated by its ability to process in
dustrial, chemical and other high-margin wastes from diverse sources, and to produce high margin industrial and energy products in a closed-loop system that does not generate unwanted stack emissions or landfill residuals. The core process is simple gasification and the company’s initial facilities will manufacture hydrogen and methanol from the syngas intermediary. The company has partnered with NASA to build its first plant inside the Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Hancock County, Mississippi. The Preliminary Environmental Survey has been approved by NASA and the Preliminary Record of Environmental Compliance has been received by ROI. A Public/Private Venture Agreement (PPVA) has been approved by SSC officials and is pending final approval at NASA Headquarters. ROI and NASA officials have developed a Supplemental RFP strategy for commerce agreements regarding the planned Uninterruptible Green Hydrogen Supply Utility Further, ROI has received written expression of interest from Nexeo (formerly Ashland Distribution) for 100% of the methanol off-take. A Power Purchase Agreement & Renewable Energy Credit (REC) purchase agreement with Mississippi Power is in development. ROI has also received verbal expressions of interest from Nexeo’s environmental services (reverse distribution) business unit, and Industrial By-Product Solutions, a waste management and recycling consultancy that sells-through to numerous manufacturers in our target market.
