✨ Where the magic began… Marceline, Missouri! ✨🏰

I had the opportunity to visit Marceline, Missouri, a small town that helped shape the imagination of Walt Disney and inspire some of the magic we know and love today. ❤️

Honestly, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect heading into this trip, but I left with a whole new appreciation for the story behind the magic!

We explored a museum filled with incredible Disney history (you could easily spend an entire day there!), saw the home where Walt lived as a boy and the farm his family owned, and even saw Walt Disney Elementary School. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at a local restaurant and got to experience the charm of a small town that helped inspire some VERY big dreams.

A special part of the day was learning about the Dreaming Tree 🌳 — a place where Walt would sit, draw, and let his imagination run wild. It’s incredible to think about how the simple moments of childhood, the places he explored, and the memories he made here helped shape the creativity behind the most magical place on earth.

And if that wasn’t special enough, we had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Kaye, someone who knew Walt personally and shared a close relationship with his family. Hearing personal stories and experiencing authentic Disney history made the entire day feel even more meaningful. ✨

I walked away feeling inspired, grateful, and reminded that sometimes the biggest dreams begin in the smallest places. Marceline may be a small town in Missouri, but its place in Disney history is anything but small!

As someone who loves Disney and gets to help families create their own magical memories, this experience was truly something special. 💫 It gave me a deeper appreciation for the history, imagination, and heart behind the magic we get to experience today.

Sometimes, the best part of the magic is discovering where it all began. ❤️🏰
