The Town of Kernersville Community Development Department is looking for a full-time Code Inspections Supervisor candidate with strong leadership skills and considerable knowledge of state building codes, local laws and ordinances. Primary functions of this position include managing and directing the work of staff responsible for the issuance of permits and the inspection in the following areas: electrical, building, mechanical, and plumbing. Work involves interpretation, application, and enforcement of rules and regulations relating to the construction of new buildings and the repair of existing buildings.
