🔐 We’re Moving to .GOV! 🌐

To enhance security, build public trust, and align with federal best practices, Cobb County Government is transitioning its website from https://cobbcounty.org?utm_campaign=Main+website+Page&utm_content=1747744980&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook to cobbcounty.gov on June 2, 2025.

📌 What You Need to Know:
✔️ The website design will stay the same—only the web address is changing
✔️ Update your bookmarks to cobbcounty.gov
✔️ County email addresses will shift to .gov (old ones will still work for a limited time)
✔️ No disruption to county services

💡 Why .GOV?
✅ Verified for government use = stronger cybersecurity
✅ More visible in search engines
✅ Improved protection against phishing and spoofing
✅ Greater confidence you’re using official government services

💬 “Residents can trust that when they visit our website, they are accessing official government information and services.” – Dr. Jackie McMorris, County Manager
