Ace Drayage is looking to hire two dispatchers for our Kearny, NJ location. We currently have three hardworking and dedicated dispatchers who require two additional team members!

Please ONLY APPLY if you have 2+years of experience with Dispatching in the Logistics field. Experience with the New Jersey and New York Ports and their systems is required.

Our Dispatchers manage 50+ Owner-Operators daily, with routes going as far as California and near as Secaucus, New Jersey. An ideal candidate for this position is quick, learns easily, understands teamwork, has impeccable multitasking skills, and is a great communicator.

Dispatchers Duties (include but are not limited to):
Scheduling routes for Owner-Operators/ Drivers
Using New Jersey and New York Ports websites
Learning Evans Delivery internal database to create work orders
Communicating with clients via email and phone
Overseeing the daily activity of Owner- Operators/ Drivers and providing internal and external updates
Providing customer service support to Owner- Operators/ Drivers and clients
Reporting daily office activity
Qualifications Needed:
High School Diploma
At least 2+ years of dispatch experience required
Computer literate ( email, can learn our internal system and other systems quickly)
Great phone and in-person etiquette
Confident in working alone and with a team
Uses good judgment and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Overtime: Paid overtime on Saturdays (as needed but not guaranteed)
Starting Pay: $1,300-$1,500 (depending on experience)
