Our best tip for celebrating National Dessert Day with Bike Share KC: bring something to tie it down!!

It is a huge bummer to hit a pothole and watch your box of doughnuts go flying into the street. Bungees, shoe laces, busted inner tubes... whatever you got is better than doughnuts in the street.

What about parking a Bike Share KC bike?
FREE: Lock up and end your trip at official Bike Share KC hubs.
$2: Lock up outside of a hub nearly anywhere in the service area as long as the bike is available to other users and doesn't inhibit anyone else's mobility. For example, locking up to a public bike rack or a street sign is probably fine. Locking up to a bus stop or a handrail is not.

▶️ The fine print
As always, bikes must be locked and parked in the public right of way in accordance with program rules. The Annual Membership + Parking does not exempt riders from fines for unlocked bikes, bikes blocking an access point or parked outside the service area, or vandalism.
