We have been fielding inquiries about the TFR that is over the airport and if it will have any impacts on flights operating from MKC.

The Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) only applies to Unmanned Aerial Systems, also known as drones, and does not apply to manned aircraft. Here is the link to the Federal Aviation Administration TFR map page

❄️Our new snowblower has arrived! This new snowblower will allow us to be more efficient and faster with removing snow from the runways and taxiways.❄️ Our outstanding mechanics were able to keep our old, 1960’s snowblower running for longer than its expected life, but parts are no longer available for repair. Our snow removal crews and mechanics will spend the next few months (after World Cup) training on how to operate and repair the new snowblower so they will be proficient once winter arrives. Thank you to everyone who made this purchase possible!
