We are currently hiring for all shifts and all days to be available for the following days and times:
Morning Shift
- 3:00 AM to 2:00 PM -Typically the driver will start between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM depending on the first trip of the day. The end of the shift can vary depending on the rotation with the PM Driver.
Afternoon/Evening Shift - 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM - Typically the driver will start between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Depending on the rotation of the drivers on call and the actual arrivals times of the flights, the end of this shift can vary. Typically the last flights arrive between 12:00 am and 12:30 am, although some flights can be delayed.
These times are 'on duty' times, not necessarily 'work' times. Your day to day schedule may start later in this window or end earlier than shown. Due to the nature of the business there will be times in between trips while you are waiting for a flight to land after dropping a customer off the next trip picks up in 1 hour etc.
Our drivers average 2-5 trips per shift. Our drivers stay with us because the work is enjoyable and the customers are professional or pleasant. Our best drivers stay because the real earnings potential is in the customer gratuities (*which are based on your level of service!)
5 Guys Transportation will work with your schedule assigning a permanent shift based on mutual benefit. Selected drivers will pick up a van at our office daily and will carry clients to and from the airport. Drivers will be offered an equal share of airport trips. The driver will be paid on a commission basis for all trips completed. The pay is equal to 20% of all base fares accepted and performed and 100% of all gratuities earned. Our employees average $75-$150 per day worked. This number is not guaranteed but serves as an average for our drivers. Our most dedicated drivers that are always available and accept any trips we need covered will be consistently higher than that average.
Driver will need to have a Smart Phone and a stand alone GPS. Knowledge in using GPS and applications are required for job success and strong customer service and communication skills are a must.
If you are selected beyond the interview process you will be required to:

Have or be able to get a Class E (MO license holders only)

Pay $41 for one time Federal Aviation Authority background check

Pass Federal background check performed at Fort Leavenworth

Have an Android or Iphone

Submit to Drug screen

We need afternoon/evening drivers as we get into our busy season. If you are available to work at least 1 weekend day and 2-4 additional days we can work with you to find the perfect balance.

Most drivers earn $100-$150 for each day worked. We have many retired drivers that want to get out of the house a few days a week and we also have full time drivers as well.

We are located near the airport so generally if you live north or the river it will be an easy commute to come get a van but we will consider hiring from any part of the area.

5 Guys Transportation is continuing to grow in the Kansas City area. We are hiring drivers and office staff to help process customer reservations.

Our drivers pick up customers at home, hotel or work and take them to the airport. Drivers earn 22% of each trip plus keep 100% of any gratuity earned. Our drivers earn $100-$150 per day and many drivers consistently earn $600-1000 per week.

Our reservations staff handle inbound calls from new and repeat customers and assist with booking trips to and from the airport. Our reservations staff must be proficient with the computer, google maps and Microsoft Office Suite. While we will train the right candidate, call center experience helps, and customer service experience is required.

Pay starts at $14 per hour with vacation pay and holiday pay for those that we offer full time positions. 5 Guys transportation promotes from within, so if you think you have what it takes or are looking for somewhere to grow and earn more apply today.

Once trained our reservations staff has the ability if interested to gain knowledge with our dispatching positions as a dispatch assistant, while training to become a full time dispatcher.

We need to hire 4 or 5 drivers for our busy season. We will work with you to find a good schedule, however we need you to be available both Saturday and Sunday and 1 to 3 week days.

You choose between mornings 3am to early afternoon or early afternoon till the last flight.

This would be a great position for a retired individual to make a few bux a week and get out of the house or for someone wanting full time work.
