Whether you're going for a weekend getaway or a summer vacation, here are three things we recommend you bring with you:

- a portable battery. You should always have a battery when you travel, and this is a real lifesaver

- an emergency kit. This is a small set that contains a power adapter, a mini flashlight, a small sewing thread, and safety pins, and

- a travel first aid kit. Always have it with you, so you don't find yourself looking for a pharmacy in an unfamiliar place.
