You’ll have the chance to see one of our ARFF trucks up close at Air Fair on September 26! Come meet the team, check out the equipment, and see how they help keep AZO safe every day.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE ✈️

Commercial air service at AZO will be temporarily suspended for seven days beginning at 12:00 a.m. on September 12 while crews complete critical work on the Runway 17-35 Extension Project.

There will be no commercial flights arriving at or departing from AZO from September 12 through September 18. Commercial flights are scheduled to resume on September 19.

The airport will remain open during the closure for rental car access and other customer needs.

Passengers traveling during the closure should contact their airline directly regarding their itinerary.

Please join us in welcoming Christopher Beckman, AZO’s new Operations and Maintenance Supervisor! ✈️

Chris brings extensive aviation experience to AZO, beginning his career in airfield management with the U.S. Air Force before serving with the Oklahoma and Michigan Air National Guard. Most recently, he served as Airport Director at Southwest Michigan Regional Airport in Benton Harbor.

Chris was drawn to AZO’s strong reputation and the opportunity to work with our team while helping the airport safely and effectively serve our community.

We are excited to welcome Chris to AZO and look forward to the experience and leadership he will bring to our Operations and Maintenance team!

✈️ Up next in our Air Fair aircraft lineup: Van’s RV-7!

The RV-7 is a versatile two-seat sport aircraft known for its speed, impressive handling and aerobatic capabilities.

Able to cruise at nearly 200 mph, the RV-7 combines speed with excellent cross-country range. Its short takeoff and landing capabilities also allow it to operate from paved runways as well as grass and dirt airstrips.

Built for adventure, the fully aerobatic RV-7 can handle up to +6/-3Gs, making it just as exciting for loops and rolls as it is for cross-country flying!

Come see Van's RV-7 up close at Air Fair on September 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at AZO! ✈️
