CABX provides on‑site jump‑start support, tire inflation, and spare‑tire installation for standard passenger vehicles. All roadside‑assistance requests must be booked through our website, include a signed waiver, and require prepaid authorization before a driver is dispatched.
Service Area:
Roadside assistance is available within 15 minutes of Kalamazoo in all directions.
Requests outside this radius incur a $100 per hour travel fee, billed in one‑hour increments.

Vehicle Eligibility
CABX does not assist:
- Semi‑trucks
- Commercial vehicles
- Vehicles with more than two axles or double or more wheeled 2 axel vehicles

Customer Requirements
- Customer must provide their own car jack, as lifting points and equipment needs vary by make and model.
- Vehicle must be safely positioned, accessible, and fully prepared for service upon the driver’s arrival.
- Customer must sign the CABX roadside‑assistance waiver before dispatch.

Pricing & Payment Terms
All roadside‑assistance bookings require an $80 prepaid charge, consisting of:
- $50 Service Fee
- $30 Non‑Refundable Arrival Fee
If the service is successful:
The full $80 is applied to the completed service.
If the service is unsuccessful:
CABX refunds the $50 service fee and retains the $30 non‑refundable arrival fee to cover travel, time, and diagnostic assessment.
This structure complies with Michigan contract principles governing prepaid mobile services, labor allocation, and dispatch fees.

Driver & Safety Rules
- Drivers may decline or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe (traffic, weather, unstable ground, mechanical hazards).
- CABX is not responsible for pre‑existing vehicle damage, mechanical defects, unsafe spares, or issues unrelated to the attempted service.
- All work is performed by independent 1099 drivers; any claims related to vehicle damage must be addressed directly with the driver and/or their insurance.

Data & Privacy Notice
By booking roadside assistance, the customer agrees that limited personal information (address, phone number, and service details) may be shared with the assigned driver solely for service fulfillment. Data is stored securely through Netlify and processed through Stripe and Bluevine for payment authorization.

Binding Agreement
