Rio is home! They love him. A village truly makes these adoptions happen. Rio showed up as a stray, tiny little guy, senior at ARC in Ontario, California. ARC reached out to our rescue asking for assistance with Rio and 3 others because they were so scared and shut down in the shelter. Of course, it’s scary!!! 8 hour drive north, 6 weeks with us at the ranch, growing to trust, Hannah with Paws of Connection networking him and finding him a potential home, 11 hour drive for a meet and greet, and he’s now home!
Hannah and I got to sit and watch Rio be hesitant, new people, ugh, he’s nervous, but he goes. We watch as his new Mom and Dad can’t believe they hit the jackpot with this little gem. He’s perfect. He’s tiny. OMG, look at his ears. We could hear the whispers, and his head tilts.
This guy is home! They love him! He now gets to live his best life in the foothills of the Mountains in Washington, although he’s not a fan of the cold, he is a new fan of them! So they are off to buy him his very own puffer jacket or two and he will live his very best life being spoiled!
Thank you to everyone who always helps rescue, it truly takes a village.
