Due to unforeseen circumstances, Blue Route will be experiencing delays Friday, September 4.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected issue.

We expect regular Red Route service to resume tomorrow and will provide any additional updates if needed.

Now that we’ve talked about how fare capping works, let’s take a look at what it means for GOJO riders who qualify for a reduced fare.

GOJO’s reduced fare is $1 per ride, and fare capping can help you save even more. With fare capping, you’ll never pay more than:

💰 $2.50 per day (3 rides)
💰 $10 per week (4 days)
💰 $30 per month (3 weeks)

Once you reach the applicable cap, your rides are FREE for the rest of that period!

Reduced fares are available to:
• Seniors 65+
• Veterans
• Medicare recipients
• Youth ages 6–18
• Riders with disabilities

📱 Important: Fare capping is only available when using a UMO card or the UMO app.

If you qualify for a reduced fare and have already set up—or are setting up—a UMO account, reach out to the GOJO office by DM or at [email protected] to schedule a meeting and have your reduced fare applied.

GOJO FARE CHANGES START TOMORROW!🚨

Starting September 1, GOJO’s new fare structure will take effect:

🚌 Standard Fare: $2.00
🎟️ Discounted Fare: $1.00
🎓 Student Fare: $1.50*

But there’s an important part of the new fare system that can help you save money the more you ride: FARE CAPPING! 💰

With fare capping, you’ll never pay more than the daily, weekly, or monthly cap. Once you reach a cap, you ride FREE for the rest of that period! 🙌

That means the more you ride, the more you can get out of your GOJO fare.

📱 Fare capping works automatically when you pay through the UMO app or transit cards (coming soon), making it easy to ride without having to keep track of how much you’ve spent.

We know changes to fares can be a big adjustment, and we appreciate everyone who shared their feedback during the public comment period. We’re excited to bring these new features to GOJO and make riding easier and more convenient for our community.

*Student fare is for college-age students who do not attend Arkansas State University. A-State students, faculty, and staff ride GOJO free with a valid A-State ID.

🚨 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO GOJO! 🚨

We’ve been listening to your feedback, and now it’s time to put some exciting new changes into motion! 🚌💨

Following the end of our public comment period, GOJO is rolling out new features, updated routes, new stops, and a new way to pay your fare!

Here’s what you need to know:

📍 NEW STOPS & ROUTE ADJUSTMENTS
We’re making changes to our routes and adding new stops to help GOJO reach more of Jonesboro while working to make wait times shorter.

💵 NEW FARE PRICES — BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1
Our new fare structure will be:
• Standard Fare: $2.00
• Discounted Fare: $1.00
• Student Fare: $1.50 for college-age students who do not attend Arkansas State University

📱 NEW WAYS TO PAY
The UMO app makes paying your fare easier with Tap to Pay and fare capping. You’ll also be able to use GOJO transit cards as another convenient way to pay.
