Monkey Butt Light Haul

Hey, everybody! No more Monkey Butt, but he will live on in hearts and minds.
Over the years, we have had some awesome customers and adventures! We had great people get us started into this business and will never forget them. Many thanks go to RV MAX in Loomis and Rocklin, CA (Nathan, Mike, and Jenna) and Harp's RV in Lincoln, CA (Rachel and Joel). While we were in CA they gave us, or led us to, about 75% of our business, and we highly recommend you to them for their services.
We have seen a LOT of this great country and are better for it. We have gained a LOT of practical experience and have been able to pass some of it on to others. We have been blessed to no end by many of our customers over the last nine years and hope we have blessed some back.
The over-the-road lifestyle for the last year has not been as fun as we had anticipated, and it was taking us away too much from the reasons we wanted to move back home in the first place. And the Federal Government has put way too many regulations and controls on this industry for us to work locally like we were when we started out.
We have set up a cozy nest and want to stay in it more. Darryl has taken a local job delivering plumbing and HVAV supplies for a local company. Gets to be home every night and weekend! Donna will care for our nest and together we will work toward more life goals!

Been a while, but we've been to Alabama, Pennsylvania again, Ohio (found a great little farm-to-fork diner that had a bunch of keto menu items), and just dropped off in Albany, NY. Headed home for a bit then back at it!

Hit the outside of the big Iowa storm last night. This was north of Indianapolis. It was still daylight time but looked like night! Luckily for us just hard rain and 60 MPH winds. Lots of lightning. But made it through. It's very interesting and exciting out here. Just had delivered in Alabama this morning. Was in 4 states today!

33' Jayco bunkhouse to PA. On Thursday took one to Grand Rapids, MI, and had our first backhaul from GR back to Middlebury. Then picked this up to PA. Three trailers in one day! 🤑

Jayco Eagle 5er to southcentral PA. Southern PA is beautiful! Much like the Smokys and Blue Ridge.

Never been in South Dakota, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. Took a JayFlight to Mitchell, SD. Visited the largest truck stop in the world in Walcott, SD, and the largest Harley Davidson retail store in America in Albert Lea, MN. What we saw of WI is really beautiful! Life on the road so far is all we thought it would be!

Got on this week with Star Fleet Trucking in Middlebury, IN. Seems like a great company! Two days of orientation and getting truck "in compliance", then off to Dispatch for our first load...
