We had a great time sitting down and talking with our friends Jeff and Patti Kinzbach on their podcast Rocking the RV Life. We discuss full time living in an RV and how we balance work and travel while exploring new places.

Can you live life to the fullest on the open road and make a good living? Absolutely. Meet Dan Tekempel, and his wife Rachel.

Went for a fun evening hike yesterday on petroglyphs trail. While we didn’t see any petroglyphs, we did get to see a Black & White Hawk-Eagle (it’s a thing, I googled it), a very fast large lizard (too fast for a pic) and some beautiful cactus blooms. Don’t forget all the sunshine you could ever wish for! ā˜€ļø

We’ve taken a little time off from social because quite frankly we haven’t done a lot of exploring the past couple months. It is officially spring and that means we are out doing cool stuff again. Did a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday. Amazing landscape with spectacular views. Every place we visit has its own beauty and this place didn’t disappoint.

ā€œWe’ll probably do this for maybe a year.ā€
That’s what we would say when friends asked us how long we planned to do this crazy adventure. Well, a year seemed to fly past as we got to explore new places and learn new things. What an amazing ride it’s been. We traveled almost 27000 miles and visited 19 or 20 states (it got a bit confusing).
Are we stopping anytime soon you ask? With so much more to see and do how could we be done after only a year. The adventure continues, who knows where we might be next month or even next week. I can tell you that we have no intentions on settling down just yet.
Adventure on my friends.

Yuma has some pretty awesome sunsets. Although everyone here says it’s been the coldest they can remember we are soaking in the sunshine and happy to not see an inch of ice everywhere.

Our winter workcamping gig in Texas has come to an end. For three months we experienced snakes to scorpion’s, beautiful sunsets and treasure hunts for antlers, freezing temps and layers of ice. It was beautiful and brutal all at the same time. We got to experience new places and learn new things (she thinks she needs a cb handle now). Texas is Pepper approved but it’s time to leave it in the rear view and see what Arizona has to explore. Adventure on!

This was all from one evening. Hard to stop at just one pic. Pedernales River in the background.

Apparently an ice free season was too much to ask, it is pretty though. 🄶 It followed us to Texas ā„ļø
