A spectacular cockpit-cam view on final approach to Runway 35 at Lihue Airport (LIH) in Kauai, Hawaii—passing just left of the historic Ninini Point Lighthouse along the island's rugged southeast coast.

With FAA worldwide operating authority, Jet Logistics has extensive experience operating to and from international and OCONUS destinations—including throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Framed by the Pacific Ocean and the mountains of the “Garden Isle,” it's another remarkable view of what our ATP professionals see around the world while "Changing Lives, One Flight at a Time™."

✅ Ninini Point has served as an aid to navigation since the late 1800s. The present concrete tower was completed in 1932, first lit in 1933 and automated in 1953—and remains an active aid to navigation today. Just beyond it lies LIH’s 6,500-foot Runway 35, the airport’s predominant arrival runway during Hawaii’s prevailing trade-wind conditions.

Behind every air ambulance mission is a difficult story - and a family hoping to be reunited.

https://www.fox7austin.com/news/air-force-firefighter-injured-austin-hit-and-run-returns-home

Twenty-three-year-old Air Force firefighter Dominic Dubas was visiting Texas on vacation recently when he was struck by a vehicle at high speed while walking on a public sidewalk and left gravely injured for forty minutes until a bystander intervened. Authorities filed felony hit-and-run charges in the incident, alleging the suspect later fled to Mexico and had been in the United States illegally.

After nearly a month of treatment for life-threatening injuries, Dominic remains in serious condition but stable enough to finally return home to Nebraska, where he will continue his recovery supported by his family.

We applaud Dominic, his mother Melissa, and the entire Dubas family for their courage and resilience in publicly sharing their ordeal to help raise awareness. We also join others in extending our sincere gratitude to the first responders and healthcare professionals whose extraordinary efforts cared for Dominic.

Stories like the Dubas family are a poignant reminder of the missions our team and trusted air medical partners quietly support every day—helping special patients reach specialized, life-saving medical care, and returning home to reunite with the people who matter most.

On behalf of the entire Jet Logistics team, we recognize Dominic Dubas for his service to our nation, wish him and his family continued strength during the challenging road ahead, and advocate for justice served in his case.

Please share this and for those interested, friends of the Dubas family have created an official GoFundMe account on behalf of Dominic, where your donations in any amount go strictly towards this soldier’s care and needs: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-dominic-dubas-familysupport-justice
