Typically, they demand payment upfront, then either go silent or claim they're "waiting for approval from internal contacts"—a claim they can't back up, and that may be completely fabricated.

Stay vigilant. If your account or a driver's status has been suspended and you need to appeal or get clarification, only reach out through Amazon’s official email addresses.

🚛 Can you book 2–3 Amazon Relay loads before picking up your first load?

From our experience, *yes, sometimes it can work* — but it isn't always the safest strategy for your performance score.

Amazon can cancel or change loads when they're not ready, not scheduled properly, or no longer needed. Now imagine you have 3 loads lined up:

Load 1 → Load 2 → Load 3

If Load 1 gets cancelled or delayed, you may have to rush to Load 2. If you can't make it on time, you may have to reject Load 2 — and suddenly Load 3 becomes a problem too.

You could end up rejecting multiple loads or even running bobtail just to keep the schedule.

That's why simply stacking 2–3 prebooks isn't always the best way to maximize your truck.

⚠️ What happens if your Amazon Relay safety score exceeds the allowed limit?

Many carriers don't realize that Amazon Relay also evaluates your FMCSA safety record. Your safety metrics are updated based on FMCSA data, so it's important to monitor your scores regularly—not just your Relay performance.

If your FMCSA safety score goes above Amazon's allowed threshold, your Relay load board can be suspended.

Imagine having several trucks on the road with no access to Amazon loads. That's exactly what can happen if your safety score isn't monitored.

So what should you do if you receive a suspension notice?

We've been through this ourselves. Recently, our load board was suspended due to a safety issue. Our safety team immediately started working on the case, addressed the required items, monitored the FMCSA updates, and after about two months, we successfully regained access to the load board.

The most important thing is not to panic and not to ignore the issue. Review your FMCSA safety data, identify what triggered the suspension, and start working on it as soon as possible. Every case is different, but acting quickly gives you the best chance of getting back on the load board.
