As part of our commitment to road safety, Mecca & Son frequently hosts the NJ State Police for informative drivers safety training sessions. Topics include load securement, driver rules and responsibilities, hours of service, pre and post trip inspection protocol and more.

Many team members braved the cold for an in house demonstration using live equipment to further drive home the do's, don'ts and things to look out for when heading out. Mecca cares, safety is always paramount.

So, it's been a fun and exciting last 30 days.

The 2024 summer of peace initiative has gone into the Jersey City history books with zero reported homicides this past summer. This is a very special and important milestone, providing hope that we as a community are pointed in the right direction and headed toward a more positive and safe future. Mecca is proud to contribute, support and give back to the city that has supported us through the years.

The just released Monopoly: Jersey City Edition featuring iconic neighborhoods and landmarks has substituted the 4 railroads with the services of Mecca & Son. We are happy to be regarded as a diversified, long standing organization, both born and bred in the city that we've called home for the past 75 years.
