Riverbend Trucking is hiring!
We are a small family owned and operated business looking to add 1 regional driver and 1 local driver. We focus on refrigerated freight but also have seasonal flatbed work and the local position would entail hauling third shift drop and hook flatbed work.
Our expectations of a team member would include:
- To be professional: You will be representing Riverbend trucking. Our expectation for our team is to communicate, operate, and handle product with care and attention
- Completed paperwork in a timely and neat manner for each trip
- We are all responsible for the truck and trailer cleanliness inside and outside and maintaining a presentable condition
What to expect from us as an employer:
- 75k-125k per year
- 60% paid benefits to include health, dental and vision
- 1 week paid vacation after 90 days, 2 weeks after 3 years and 3 weeks after five years. If they are not used they are paid at the end of the year.
- Performance based end of year bonus potential
The right candidate would need:
- a clean driving record
- Negative drug/alcohol test. Non negotiable. Our team in enrolled in a quarterly random drug pool
- 18 years of age (21 preferred)
- Positive attitude & work ethic. We are looking for someone that is pleasant to work with & represent our company.
- A CDL-A is a big plus
If you’re interested and do not currently have a cdl do not hesitate to reach out. We can train the right person and obtain a cdl in 6-8 weeks, what we cannot do is train someone to have a positive attitude.
Currently 2 trucks that are open are both glider kits one is a t660 and the other is a 386 both offering a fridge, inverter and pre eld detroits with 13 speeds.
