I'm still here! Sorry for the disappearing act the last two weeks - my daughter woke up two Sundays ago with a fever and a runny nose. She started feeling better a couple of days later, then my husband came down with it. Once he started feeling better, it knocked me out for a couple of days. I think the other two kids have been spared this round (knock on wood). So ... the naming contest. I have looked at all the comments on here and on all the shares and have a few favorites for you all to vote on. I'm going to put each one in a separate comment. "Like" your favorite(s) and the one with the most "likes" at the end of the week will be the official name (and winner) of the soap.

Last night I got a fortune cookie that said "The basic rule of free enterprise: You must give in order to get." I'm going to take that advice and have another giveaway.

My creative streak ends when it comes to writing, so I need some help coming up with a name for my newest soap. You might have noticed that the names or titles for all my other soaps are basically just a description of the soap. Well, I think "pumpkin pie scented goats milk soap with oatmeal and embedded with translucent glycerin cut outs" is a bit too wordy. I'm sure one of you could come up with a much better name than that. :)

It's football season here at Conley Cottage! These football soaps have a realistic leather fragrance and come in a variety of colors. The current color selection is based on local football team colors but I can do custom colors, even if it means ordering some new colorants. They are sold in sets of two soaps for $4. Look for a listing on Etsy later this week.

So far I'm liking the leather scent in the football soaps. The first set is hardening right now. :)

I just got my order of new scents and colors. Time to make some leather scented football soaps! They also sent a surprise sample scent with my order. Now I need to dream up a soap to put it in!

These soaps I've been working on this weekend are making me hungry! Miniature pumpkin shaped honey oatmeal and rocky road fudge bites - they will be available on Etsy this weekend.

Tonight's new product - mint chocolate fudge size soaps. Sold in sets of 6 for $4.50. Soaps are approx. 1.25 inches square and approx. .5 inches thick. Small size variations may occur but I make every effort to ensure that each set is as close to 4.5 total ounces as possible.

A glimpse of what I'm working on today ... one time use guest soaps. These leaves have just enough soap on them for one handwashing. When finished, just toss the leaf in the trash.

A cute way to display these in the guest bathroom would be in an autumn themed basket or soap dish on the counter beside the sink.

I just ordered some colors so I can do sets of football soaps to match local school colors. I also ordered a leather fragrance to use in them - I'm very excited to try that out! Since I was ordering, I tossed a couple of fun fall fragrances into my cart. I can't wait till the order comes so I can play with it all! I'm already getting ideas for it all. :)
