My two secret obsessions are coming together closer to home: Disney Cruise Line and Marvel. And I am handling this with absolutely zero chill. 🖤🚢

The Disney Destiny is coming home where she belongs, Port Canaveral, for winter 2027, and I could NOT be happier.

Some people want a quiet beach vacation. I want a beautiful Disney ship, Black Panther in the Grand Hall, and the possibility of Loki interrupting my day with his nonsense. We all have our priorities. 💚😂

If you’ve ever watched Marvel with me, you know I have questions, theories, emotional attachments, and a suspicious willingness to defend certain villains. I love the lore, the connections, and the tiny details that make you say, “WAIT. That was a clue three movies ago!”

So yes, a ship celebrating heroes and villains has my whole heart. And now she’s moving closer to my driveway? Disney, this feels personal, and I appreciate it.

Sometimes the train IS the luxury option. 🚆

Especially in Europe.

A private transfer isn't automatically better just because it costs more.

If a high speed train gets you city center to city center comfortably in a fraction of the time, I'm probably going to recommend it.

Luxury travel isn't about choosing the most expensive option.

It's choosing the smartest one.

A personal note before we begin: This may be the most personal article I have ever written here.

It is not intended to tell you where you should or should not travel, and it certainly isn’t meant to suggest that my personal level of comfort should become yours. I am a travel advisor, but I am also a wife, a mother and, very soon, a grandmother. Those parts of me don’t always look at the world through exactly the same lens.

Your holiday wish list called. Apparently, it wants a Disney Destiny cruise and a mildly concerning amount of Loki. 💚🚢

If you’re already thinking about the holidays in 2027 or how you want to begin 2028, THIS is the ship I want my fellow Marvel lovers to consider.

Marvel has a spot in my heart because I love stories that reward you for paying attention. A tiny detail today can become the missing piece several movies later.

That’s why the Destiny speaks to me. I love the backstories, the complicated loyalties, the redemption arcs, and the characters we’re still debating long after the credits roll. Put those heroes and villains at the heart of a Disney ship, and suddenly choosing a cruise feels very personal. 🖤

Imagine gifting your Disney-loving spouse. Your grown children who still have very strong opinions about which villain deserves another chance. You, finally taking a vacation instead of coordinating everyone else’s holiday happiness.

And with Destiny sailing from Port Canaveral beginning November 30, 2027, we have a closer departure option for an end of year escape or a fresh start in 2028.

My vote? Put the trip on the calendar and let the anticipation become part of the gift. We can choose your dates, find the right stateroom, and decide whether your crew wants holiday magic in 2027 or something wonderful to look forward to after the decorations come down.

"Where do you want to go?"

It's:

"How do you want this trip to FEEL?"

Romantic?

Relaxing?

Adventurous?

Food focused?

Celebratory?

Slow?

Once I understand that, everything changes.

Because the destination is only one part of designing the right trip.
