Chris Tucker once told Michael Jackson that he liked his flat-screen TV.
Michael Jackson gave it to him.
Tucker tried to give it back, but Jackson said no.
Tucker said that gift made him start thinking bigger. He began liking nice things.
One day, he saw Jackson’s Rolls-Royce and said:
“Mike, I like that Rolls-Royce. That’s a nice car.”
Jackson asked, “You like it, Chris?”
“Yeah, I like it.”
“You sure you like it?”
“Yeah.”
Jackson then said:
“Well, you better go buy one. I’m not giving you my Rolls-Royce. I gave you a TV.”
Tucker still tells the story years later because Jackson’s answer was too funny to argue with.
