🚛🛑 DOT Blitz Week Will Be Here Soon!! 🛑🚛

The CVSA International Roadcheck (aka DOT Blitz Week) is scheduled for May 12-14 this year, with an increase of 200-300% in safety checks across North America. Per CVSA's website, the driver portion of the inspection this year is focused on electronic logging device (ELD) tampering, and the vehicle portion of the inspection is focused heavily on cargo securement. 🔍 They will also still be on the lookout for any other inspection requirements.

What does this mean for you? Spot rates will climb due to restricted capacity as many drivers take time off to minimize the risk of fines and marks against safety scores.💰

As transit times and scheduling may become a bit lengthier, we recommend connecting with your logistics partners to minimize any impacts. The remaining drivers will be doing everything they can to keep things moving as smoothly as possible, so please remember to treat them with patience and understanding! ❤️
