✈️ Yes, I travel a lot. But here’s something you may not realize…

The trips you see me taking are actually a very small fraction of the trips I research, plan and book every year.

Behind every trip I personally experience are countless hours spent researching destinations, comparing itineraries, finding the right hotels, evaluating cruise lines, coordinating flights and transfers, and planning vacations for my clients all over the world. 🌎

And there’s a reason I keep traveling myself.

I like to keep it in practice. 😉

There’s a big difference between reading about a destination, cruise ship, airline or hotel and actually experiencing travel firsthand. Every trip gives me another opportunity to learn something that may help one of my clients later.

So while you might see Steve and me sitting comfortably up front ✈️🥂, chances are I’m already taking mental notes for someone else’s future adventure.

Because travel isn’t just something I love to do.

It’s what I do.

🎉 Well, I POPPED! And apparently I’m a little late celebrating it! 🥂✈️

Earlier this year, I officially crossed a pretty incredible milestone — $1 MILLION in sales, $1 MILLION in commissionable sales AND $1 MILLION in departed sales for 2026!

And now? I am already at more than $1.5 MILLION in ALL THREE categories! 🤯💚

What makes this especially meaningful to me is that I’m doing this as a solo travel advisor. Behind every one of those numbers is a honeymoon, family vacation, bucket-list adventure, cruise, group trip, destination wedding, or long-awaited getaway that someone trusted me to help make happen.
And THAT is what I’m celebrating.

🇮🇹 FLORENCE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THE DUOMO…

One of my favorite stops during my time in Florence was the incredible Basilica of Santa Croce.

From the outside, the beautiful marble façade immediately gets your attention. But walk through those doors and you discover why Santa Croce is often called the “Temple of the Italian Glories.”

Imagine walking through a church and coming face-to-face with the history of people whose names we still know centuries later.

✨ Michelangelo — one of the greatest artists who ever lived
🔭 Galileo Galilei — whose discoveries forever changed our understanding of the universe
📖 Niccolò Machiavelli — philosopher, historian and author of The Prince
🎼 Gioachino Rossini — one of Italy’s great composers

And then there is Dante Alighieri. His magnificent monument is here, although Dante himself is actually buried in Ravenna. I love little pieces of history like that!

Standing among these elaborate tombs and memorials really puts into perspective just how much history surrounds you in Florence. These aren’t names from a textbook anymore—you’re standing in the places where their stories actually happened.

My travel tip: Don’t make Santa Croce just a photo stop from the piazza. GO INSIDE. Give yourself time to wander, look at the details and take it all in. The interior was the part that fascinated me the most.

This is why I love Italy. You can come for the food, w**e and gorgeous scenery…and find yourself completely captivated by hundreds of years of art and history. ❤️🇮🇹

✨ A Dream Wedding Week in Tuscany 🇮🇹💍🍷

Some trips are special. Some celebrations are unforgettable. And then there are weeks like the Ackerman/Bell wedding in San Gimignano, Italy. ❤️

The breathtaking Tenuta Torciano W**ery, established in 1720, provided the most incredible backdrop for Rebecca & Tyler’s wedding celebration. With its beautiful Tuscan setting, generations of w**emaking history, and w**es distributed directly to its clients, it truly felt like a place made for an occasion this special.

Rebecca and her mom, Diane, spent so much time thoughtfully creating a dreamy wedding week for the family and friends who traveled to Tuscany to celebrate with them—and watching it all come together was spectacular.

I feel incredibly fortunate that my role went far beyond simply booking the travel. I was able to be their go-to person throughout the week—helping coordinate logistics, answering questions, troubleshooting the little things, and taking as much as possible off Rebecca and Diane’s plates so they could focus on enjoying this incredible celebration.

From making sure the setting was just right for the beautiful welcome dinner at Cappuccina Country Resort & Spa, overlooking the historic walled city of San Gimignano, to helping keep the many moving pieces running smoothly throughout the week, this is exactly why I love being involved in destination weddings.

It isn’t just about getting everyone to Italy. ✈️ It’s about helping create an experience where the bride, groom and their families can actually enjoy the moments they worked so hard to create.

Florence has a way of making history feel like it’s still very much alive… and sometimes, it even comes with a glass of w**e! 🍷🇮🇹

One of my favorite little discoveries while exploring Florence was the buchette del vino, or w**e windows. These tiny openings tucked into buildings throughout the city date back centuries and were originally created so Florentine families and w**e producers could sell w**e directly from their cellars to people on the street.

And yes—some of them are still serving today! 🍷

There’s something pretty special about walking through Florence, spotting one of these tiny windows, ringing the bell and having a glass of w**e handed to you through a piece of history. THIS is exactly why I love travel. It’s not always the major landmarks that become your favorite memories—it’s the unexpected little experiences you discover along the way.

So when you visit Florence, don’t just look up at the incredible architecture… keep an eye on the walls, too. You may just find a w**e window waiting for you! 😉
