Everyone please remember …

We know it’s HOT— typically we do not allow eating or drinking on the buses BUT in this heat PLEASE SEND an extra water bottle for your students on our buses.

As long as it’s water we actually RECOMMEND your student to have a bottle of water in the afternoon for their ride home.

Just remind to please not sq**rt other children with it and PLEASE do not share water with others as we would prefer not to spread any germs. But why we also pride ourselves on all of our bus routes being 35 minutes or less from the time we leave the schools until your student gets home.

Remember one thing espically elementary students parents— if your student is ever running late getting home remember one thing— as long as they loaded one of our buses regardless of if it the right or wrong bus please give us until 4:20-4:30 PM before you panic. Even if your student gets on the wrong bus— remember WE WILL get them home. Our drivers get back to the lot between 4:20-4:30– that’s when we can legally stop and we check our buses to make sure no student fell asleep or something like realizing they got on the wrong bus and at that moment we will crank back up and make sure your student gets home safely.

We appreciate all the community’s support and patience this week. I know for elementary students parents it’s hard not to worry when the bus runs late but I promise we have the BEST crew of drivers and we WILL deliver your student to your home safely every time. We may run behind but we will get your babies home to you.

Starting next week on Monday 8/17/26:

ALL JHS & KSE students that ride the ROUTE #2/YELLOW BUS will need to be at their bus stop 10 MINUTES EARLIER.

That bus route will run 10 minutes EARLIER than it has this week.

Bus drivers are trained to look and listen and look again. We take pride in our cargo we carry and want everyone to be safe. As we start the school year, remember that school buses stop frequently and our kids we want to keep safe. So, if a bus is stopped, let’s stop for the bus. We thank you for letting your student(s) ride because we want them safe on and off the bus. Here is part of how we train per state regulations.
