Looking at your backside….. Tetons

If you are looking for an off the beaten path way to enjoy the Tetons, try staying in Driggs or Victor Idaho. You can take a short drive towards the Targhee Ski Resort and enjoy smaller crowds and fantastic views. Hiking and mountain biking are some of the fun things waiting for you.

You can also gain access to the Jedediah Smith Wilderness of Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Take hikes to Table Mountain and get some fantastic views of the Tetons and the Teton Valley.

Sometimes the road less traveled is a win win! We have done the Tetons both ways and just love exploring it from the Idaho side.

Looking for Paradise

Traveling the the back roads of Tennessee looking for a community that fits like a glove. As with all things, I am learning patience will be required.

We checked out the community called Kimball, Tennessee. It is near a lake, scenic hills, and quaint hill top restaurants to explore.

Looking at the property value near this community shows a mix of properties from reasonable to millions of dollars.

Having Your RV Detailed on The Road

If you are at a RV Park and see a detailing crew doing a lot of RV's there, make sure you carefully watch how they work before you get yours done.

Comparing their job on a fiberglass camper is not the same as a Class A. The paint on the metal surface is a lot more susceptible to scratches if they use the wrong technique.

I learned the hard way after being on the road for months and not feeling up to par to do it myself as I usually do. I want make that mistake again no matter how long they have been in business.

Anyone else used a service or the truck wash services that turned out the same?

Been stuck on the sidelines while wishing you were exploring? Mt Rainier is an excellent destination to head for. Climb to enjoy cooler temperatures and enjoy the endless beauty around you.

Man it is hot!

If you are getting a little hot and humid on the East Coast, head for Mt. Rainer. The higher you climb the cooler you get. There are also good places to camp with plenty of shade.

Mt. Rainier is one of the places that is still calling me back from last year's travel. Packwood, WA is a great little town very close to the gate of the park. If you can stay in the area longer, drive HWY 12 towards Rimrock Lake Resort. There is plenty to explore on the way and it is very scenic.

Mount Rainier or Glacier National Park… which one actually has the bigger glaciers?

We found a hidden basecamp with elk roaming the campground and a drive that goes from deep forest to desert in an hour.
