Disney Cruise Line is officially going to Japan, and the first ship finally has a name: Disney Imagination. 🚢

Starting in spring 2029, Disney Imagination will sail from Tokyo as the first ship in Disney Cruise Line Japan. It’s being run by Oriental Land Co., the same company that operates Tokyo Disney Resort, which is a big reason Tokyo Disney is so beloved. That track record makes me pretty excited about what they’ll do at sea.

My favorite detail is the stern. Every Disney ship features a character, and this one gets Ariel, along with Sebastian and friends. She’s writing the ship’s name with her dinglehopper, which is about as perfect as it gets.

Onboard you can expect what makes Disney cruising different from every other cruise line:

Disney just dropped the full details on its newest cruise ship, and booking opens in a matter of DAYS.

Meet the Disney Believe. She sets sail December 18, 2027 from Fort Lauderdale on 4- and 5-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean. Here’s what you can only get on this ship:

The world’s first Encanto stage musical. Yes, Bruno is invited.
Oaken’s Table, a brand-new Frozen dinner show with Anna and Kristoff.
A Zootopia family show where your kids help Judy and Nick solve the case.

Booking opens October 12 for Pearl Castaway Club members and rolls out by level through the week. Everyone else can book starting October 19.

If you've never seen the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, it's one of those Disney traditions that sneaks up on you. A 51-piece orchestra, the Voices of Liberty, a choir of more than 150 singers, and a celebrity narrator telling the Christmas story. This is its 55th year at Walt Disney World, and people plan whole trips around who's reading.

Here's the 2026 lineup:

Shows run nightly at 4:45, 6:30 and 8:00 pm at the America Gardens Theatre.

Here's what nobody tells you until you're standing in a very long line: seating is first-come, first-served, and it fills up fast. The way around that is a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. You eat at a select EPCOT restaurant (breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on the restaurant) and get a reserved seating badge for your showtime. The meal includes an entree and dessert or a buffet, plus a drink.

Booking opens October 14th. The popular narrators and dinner time slots go first, so if you have a favorite on this list, don't sit on it. One honest note: the package guarantees you a seat, not a front-row view, so arriving early still matters.

Walking down Sunset Boulevard at Christmas feels like stepping into an old Hollywood holiday movie. Silver garland, giant ornaments, glowing reindeer on the lampposts. Jollywood Nights takes that and adds a party on top.

Here's what you need to know for 2026:

Dates: Select nights from Nov. 7 through Jan. 5. (This is the first year it runs into January).

Nov. 7, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28
Dec. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 23
Jan. 3, 5

Hours: You can enter as early as 5:30 pm. The party runs 7:30 pm to 12:30 am.

What you get: the "Glisten!" skating show, Disney Holidays in Hollywood with Kermit and Miss Piggy, the Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks, rare character greetings, and lower wait times on rides like Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash and Tower of Terror.

It's a separate ticket from regular park admission, capacity is limited, and prices change by date. If this is on your wish list, don't wait until you're packing to look at tickets.
