Remember paper logbooks? Truckers stretched hours, told creative ‘lies,’ and survived the road with skill, humour, and ingenuity.

FINALLY… they're admitting the ELD clock might actually be part of the PROBLEM.

FMCSA has tested ideas that could give drivers more flexibility with the 14-hour clock during delays.

Stuck at a shipper.
Traffic completely stopped.
Dangerous weather.

Things the DRIVER cannot control.

More flexible sleeper-berth options have also been considered.

Because forcing a driver to race against a computer doesn't magically make the highway safer.

Sometimes it makes the driver RUSH.

The ELD was supposed to stop tired driving...

Did it accidentally create a different kind of danger?

This is what drivers should really be talking about.
