Meteora, Greece is one of the most otherworldly and spiritually profound destinations on Earth. Meaning "suspended in mid-air" in Greek, it features massive, 60-million-year-old sandstone pillars rising abruptly up to 1,800 feet (550 meters) above the plain of Thessaly. Perched directly on top of these dizzying cliffs sits a spectacular complex of Eastern Orthodox monasteries built by hermit monks starting in the 14th century to escape political instability.

As a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, Meteora seamlessly blends jaw-dropping geology with deep Byzantine history. Of the original 24 medieval monasteries, six remain fully active and open to the public.

The Three Sisters are a trio of peaks near Canmore, Alberta, Canada. They are known individually as Big Sister, Middle Sister and Little Sister. In the traditional language of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney) the peaks are also referred to as the three sisters. However, the name refers to a story of Ĩ-ktomnĩ, the old man or trickster, who would promise 'three sisters' in marriage whenever he was in trouble. This trio of peaks has a significant role in the town of Canmore, tourism, and hiking in the area. The Three Sisters may be the most recognized peaks in the Bow River Valley.

Čumil, is a famous bronze sculpture of a worker resting by a manhole in the Old Town of Bratislava, Slovakia. Because the statue sits right at a curb intersection, careless drivers ran over his head more than once! To protect both motorists and the sculpture, the city installed a unique, custom traffic sign right above him that reads "MAN AT WORK".

Local lore suggests that if you rub the shiny button on his cap, it will bring you good luck.

He is located right at the corner intersection of Panská Street, Laurinská Street, and Rybárska brána. He is usually surrounded by crowds of tourists waiting to snap a picture alongside him.
