Paris is lovely, and yes, you should absolutely go there! But…France has so much more to offer beyond one city.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur = lavender fields! 💜
Normandy = Mont-Saint-Michel and dramatic cliffs 🌿
Grand Est = Champagne 🍾
Nouvelle-Aquitaine = Bordeaux 🍷
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes = the French Alps and Lyon (one my favorite cities!) ⛰️
Centre-Val de Loire = châteaux…I think there are over 300 castles in this region 🏰
Brittany = Celtic and UK influence, known for its coastline…also, I saw the most beautiful hydrangeas here! 🌊
French Riviera = colorful coastal towns, luxury, and seaside cafés ☀️

Everyone knows Paris but not everyone keeps going! Don't be afraid to venture beyond the postcard. 😉

Korean culture introduced itself to me a couple years ago when my parents discovered shows on Netflix and fell head over heels into the world of Korean TV, with me not far behind.

South Korea is a HOT topic right now. You’ve got K-beauty, BTS on their comeback tour, K-Pop, K-Pop Demon Hunters, K-dramas, Korean BBQ, and I think Seoul was just voted the most walkable city in the world, along with having the world’s second best airport (after Singapore).

All that to say…I think it’s about time I go explore this country, right!?

I will be hosting clients who are interested in South Korea to join me (for PEAK fall foliage, where are my leaf peepers at!?) while I’m there, with the hopes that we can learn more about the amazing things this country has to offer.

I get this reel on my IG that makes fun of people who go on vacation. 24 hours into the trip, they’re like “We should live here.”

Bali was like this for me. Except for real. I literally looked at the housing market for overseas homeowners. Maybe I’ll retire there, who knows, I just loved this little island so much!

My husband and I went to check out this one waterfall. There were these guys there - I don’t know if they were guides or just friendly locals, taking pictures for tourists under the falls, and giving people the *sexiest* poses - leading by example of course. It was both endearing and hilarious. When I told them we were on our honeymoon, this one guy got so excited for us and had us do a romantic dip under the falls, which was nearly impossible on the slippery rocks. Our photo ended up being cute, but you can tell we’re trying not to die.
Bali was towards the end of our country-hopping honeymoon, and unfortunately, we didn’t have laundry access for the rest of the trip and our clothes were just wetly making our luggage all stinky. Despite leaving them outside to dry.

Following Bali we went to the UAE, and while the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the iconic centerpiece of the UAE, the first thing that comes to my mind is that I had the best ramen of my life in Dubai.

We’re going to start our trip together in Bangkok, where there is something for everyone!

The variety of temples to shops to affordable wellness treatments to night life makes Bangkok the perfect launching point for the rest of our explorations.

Then, we’ll take a break from city life to enjoy the tropical beaches of Ko Samui. The archipelago white sand beaches lined with swaying palm trees, fresh coconut water, and spa offerings should make this visit the ultimate relaxation portion of our trip.

Chiang Mai will be our third and final city that we explore, and rightfully so. We’ll steep in Thailand’s culture, see elephants in person, and conclude our journeys under thousands of paper lanterns at their Lantern Festival.

To fly home, we’ll return to Bangkok. I recommend booking for your stay for about 2 weeks in order to make the most out of those long flights from the States.
