Our May Clinical Day focused on two important topics that help keep our crews prepared for real world emergencies.

First, our team reviewed motor vehicle accident (MVA) scenarios and practiced safe patient extrication techniques, including removing patients from vehicles while minimizing further injury and ensuring safety.

We also reviewed heat related emergencies and heat stroke recognition and treatment. As temperatures begin to rise, it is important for EMS providers to quickly identify signs of heat illness and provide timely interventions to prevent serious complications.

Training and continuing education are essential to providing the highest level of care to our patients. Thank you to all of our crews who participated and continue to invest in their skills and professional development.

This week is all about recognizing the hard work, long hours, dedication, and compassion that EMS providers give every single day. We are thankful for every EMT, Paramedic, Dispatcher, Wheelchair Driver, Billing team member, Mechanic, and support staff member who helps keep CARE moving 24/7.

This week, we recognize the voices behind the scenes who keep everything moving, our dispatchers.
At CARE Ambulance, we are incredibly lucky to have two dedicated individuals who keep our operations running smoothly every single day.

💛 Kim, our weekday dispatcher, is the steady voice our crews rely on. From coordinating calls to keeping communication clear and consistent, she keeps the weekdays running without missing a beat.

💛 Lindsay, our weekend dispatcher, steps in to manage some of our busiest and most unpredictable times. She keeps things organized, responds quickly, and ensures our crews have what they need when it matters most.

Dispatch is not an easy job. It takes patience, focus, and the ability to handle constant change, all while supporting crews in the field.

Kim and Lindsay, thank you for everything you do. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and CARE would not run without you.
