Since 2003 when B & A started manufacturing trailers, we have been a leader in the industry when it comes to quality, dependability, and just good ol' honest hard working people. In 1988 Mike McElrath started building trailers ( McElrath Trailers) and after working many years of building the best tra

ilers around he decided to sell and pursue other things. After several years in the ironwork and cooker business, and amongst many request for trailers he decided to start back building trailers again. So in 2003 B & A Trailers was established and his son Benjamin McElrath joined the operation. In 2005 ironworks and cookers were discontinued and efforts have been focused solely on quality trailers and truck equipment. Today B & A is continuing to offer the same great trailers and service that has become known to many. If you would like a quality product, built in America with American workers and parts, then we are here for you.

Because we get so many requests for the smaller utility and smaller equipment trailer types we don’t build we created Legacy Trailer Supply — backed by B&A Trailers — to better serve those needs.

Legacy Trailer Supply will be carrying utility, equipment, and dump trailers. This is separate from our B&A-built lineup and our authorized dealer network.
